LeDiedra's Makeup Boutique

The house that
set-level care built.

The boutique chair

LMB is where three decades of film-set discipline became something everyone could sit in. LeDiedra opened her boutique in New Orleans not as a step away from the industry, but as an expansion of it — bringing the same precision she gave to leading actors to brides, clients, and everyday women preparing for their moment.

It carries her standard in every detail: meticulous, intentional, deeply personal. This isn't a salon visit. It's time in the chair with someone who has made it her life's work to understand faces — and to elevate them.

"The same care I gave a face on camera is the same care I give a bride on her morning. The standard doesn't change because the room does."

Film & Television

Three decades on the
world's most demanding sets.

LeDiedra has served as Department Head and Key Makeup Artist across feature films, network television, and major live productions. From character continuity on multi-season series to special-effects and live-broadcast beauty, she has operated at the highest level of the craft.

A member of the film union since 2003 — the first African American makeup artist grandfathered into IATSE Local 798 for the State of Louisiana — she has worked on a majority of Oscar-, Emmy-, and award-winning film productions.

A proud member of IATSE Local 798, her work reflects the discipline, discretion, and precision that major productions demand — and trust.

"On set, everything is pressure. My job is to make sure that when the camera turns on, no one has to worry about the face in front of it."

The Academy

Passing the craft
to the next generation.

LeDiedra built her career through discipline, mentorship, and mastery — and she believes those are the foundation of any lasting career in beauty or film. The Academy is where that knowledge lives.

Through structured training, hands-on experience, and direct mentorship, she shares the professional standards and industry insight that took decades to earn. Not trends. Not tutorials. The real craft.

"I learned this work by doing it — in real rooms, on real productions. That's the only way I know how to teach it."

Legacy

Three decades.
One unwavering standard.

LeDiedra M. Baldwin has spent nearly thirty years doing work most people never see — at a level most people never reach. From the backstage of live broadcasts to the continuity sheets of network dramas to the makeup chair of a bride on her wedding morning, she has carried the same precision into every room she has entered.

She opened LeDiedra's Makeup Boutique not as a retirement from the industry, but as an expansion of it — bringing the standard she built on set to everyday clients who deserve that quality of care.

And the boutique came first. Long before lights, camera, action — before the sets — there was LeDiedra's Makeup Boutique. She brought LMB to Hollywood.

"The work changes. The standard never does. That's the whole thing."
